This web page contains information about any bugs in AirNav VFR since the release of version 3.3.1 in June 2010.

As we sent all current customers a replacement CD containing a full installation of AirNav VFR version 3.3.1 on 11 June 2010, we will not be making a downloadable fix available on the website. If you have not received your replacement CD please contact us.
INFORMATION ABOUT KNOWN ISSUES
A) Problems starting up AirNav version 3.2 or 3.3. Error message: "is not a valid integer value"
RATING:
A) High

DETAILS:
A) A bug has been identified with AirNav VFR version 3.2 and 3.3. Both versions expired on 3 June 2010. The expiry of version 3.3 was unintended. If you have installed the new version 3.3.1 you will not experience any problem.

If you are still using versions 3.2 or 3.3 you will experience a problem starting up the expired version.

FREQUENCY:
A) 100% for non subscribers

CAUSE:
A) Invalid dates in textfield file.

SOLUTION:
A) Download file (Do Right Click on link and select "Save Target as" or "Save Link as"

DOES THIS RESOLVE THE ISSUE?:
A) Yes

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Right Click on the 'Download file' link above option A and select "Save Target as" or "Save Link as".
2. Save the file(s) into your AirNav folder (usually C:\Program Files\sentient\airnav but may be different if you stored it at another location)
3. As a file with the same name already exists in the folder, a window will come up asking you to confirm that you would like to replace the existing file. Click 'Yes'
4. If using Windows 7 or Windows Vista you may need to turn off User Account Control. Please do the following:

A. From the start menu select Control Panel.
B. In Control Panel select User Accounts and Family Safety.
C. Click User Accounts.
D. Click Turn User Accounts on or off and turn Off.

You may need to restart your computer so that the changes work.
